PIT@UMass Faculty Fellowship - 2022
The PIT Faculty Fellows program was launched in the spring of 2022 with the goal of advancing course development and socially responsible interdisciplinary research at UMass Amherst.
After a competitive process resulting in 11 inaugural PIT Fellows from 5 schools, PIT@UMass worked with each of them to develop or re-tool the 9 PIT-related courses.

These Fellows participated in a half-day summer intensive in June (taught by Brian Baldi from the Center for Teaching and Learning), a July lunch, an August “report out”, and will be attending a reception in November to present the Fellows and their work to campus.
The Fellows program has been successful in adding PIT content to UMass Amherst courses, providing potential components for certificates and concentrates, and building community within UMass Amherst.
