Informatics
I am the founding Director of the Informatics program which is currently one of two undergraduate majors in the college (the other being Computer Science). Informatics is an innovative, interdisciplinary, and inclusive program that teaches students to use computational tools and principles to solve problems in other real-world domains such as public health, financial services, art, and business. Since its beginnings in 2011, the program has successfully recruited a strong and diverse student body, significantly broadening the pathway to computing within our college.
