Biography

I have been on the faculty at UMass since 2019.  Previously, I was an Assistant Professor at Georgetown University (2013-2018).  Before that, I was a post-doc at Boston University (2011-2013), hosted by Ran Canetti and Leo Reyzin, and at the University of Texas at Austin (2010-2011), hosted by Brent Waters. I received a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology (2010). My advisor was Sasha Boldyreva. I received a B.A. in Computer Science with a second major in Mathematics from the University of California, San Diego (2005).

In recognition of my accomplishments, I have been selected as an ARCS scholar (2008-2010) and a member of the Phi Beta Kappa society (2005). Additionally, I have served on the program committee for numerous research conferences in my community.
