RTC was founded in 2022 by Michelle Ciccone, Colette Basiliere and Kevin Zheng.&nbsp; Through collaborating with people from diverse industries and backgrounds, RTC comes together to emphasize the impact that <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">technology<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> can have on society. The coalition is dedicated to the advancement of dialogue, policy, and practice around <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">responsible<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">technology<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> at UMass and society at large.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">For students interested in participating more in the RTC, their <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sites.google.com\/view\/responsibletech\/\">next meeting<\/a><\/strong>, which will be in person, takes place on <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sites.google.com\/view\/responsibletech\/\">October 6 at 5:30 in CSCI 150\/151<\/a><\/strong> (pizza and drinks will be provided).&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>About PIT@UMass<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">UMass Amherst\u2019s <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Public Interest Technology Initiative (PIT@UMass)<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> seeks to provide students and the greater community the skills, awareness, information, and experience to navigate a tech-powered world in a socially responsible way \u2013 both as citizens and professionals.&nbsp;
